I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Maryland, working in private practice and with Calvert Crisis Response. My approach blends compassion and curiosity with practical strategies for growth. Drawing from Internal Family Systems and Narrative Therapy, I help clients deepen self-understanding, strengthen relationships, and build the skills needed for lasting, meaningful change.

Bringing Heart
& Skill to Therapy

My journey to becoming a counselor has been shaped by curiosity about what makes us who we are—and how we grow through our challenges. My background includes school-based therapy, group, couples and family therapy, teaching, and working in program management and direct care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Each of these experiences have deepened my understanding of resilience and the many ways people find meaning and connection.

I draw from Internal Family Systems and Narrative Therapy to help clients explore the parts of themselves and the stories that have shaped their lives. I also integrate practical tools from Solution-Focused and Cognitive Behavioral Therapies to support the process of deep, inner healing.

At the heart of my work is relationship. I understand the importance of the therapeutic relationship and, even more, those outside the counseling office. I aim to offer a grounded, compassionate space where clients can explore their inner world, experiment with new ways of being, and feel supported in authoring the next chapter of their lives—one that feels more whole, more true, and more connected.

“The more we can cultivate curiosity and compassion towards ourselves, the more we can heal our wounds.”
